Dominic Frongillo, Co-Founder and Executive Director
Dominic Frongillo is former Councilmember and Deputy Supervisor of Caroline, New York. In 2012, when fracking threatened New York State, Frongillo co-founded Elected Officials to Protect New York, a successful bipartisan initiative of more than 1,000 lawmakers that helped win New York’s statewide ban on fracking, inspiring governments worldwide to ban fracking, and the state’s nation-leading climate policies.
An award-winning changemaker, Frongillo is an 11-time delegate to the United Nations climate negotiations. He is a Climate Reality Project Presenter trained by Al Gore and he trains elected officials nationally on climate for the Young Elected Officials Network, Front Line Leaders Academy, and Local Progress.
