OFFSHORE WIND POLICY BRIEFING

We cordially invite you to join EOPA California’s California Climate Emergency & Energy Security Summit with the California Energy Commission (CEC) in Sacramento on December 5, 2022 at the Warren-Alquist State Energy Building (1516 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814).

For local and state elected officials, the Summit will highlight the urgency for affordable clean energy security for all Californians – supporting Governor Newsom’s windfall profits cap on oil companies that are price gouging Californians at the pump and highlight energy solutions including scaling up offshore windpower.

Participants will include federal, state, and local officials, including members of Congress, state lawmakers, local elected officials, tribal leaders, state agency officials, clean energy industry representatives, and policy experts.
